Vertical integration- when a parent company controls more then 1 company. context- looking around the time when a piece of media is created.  conglomerate- different organisation that are grouped together.

There firms that control industry: British board of film classification - BBFC, their opinion is not legally binding. People mainly trust the label that is put on the film, as not everybody knows the criteria. They have the ability to ban films if they are unethical, for example straw dogs.
